Overview

Bandwidth Services
Bandwidth Services is delivered over TM extensive domestic and international network infrastructure. It includes a combination of satellite, terrestrial and submarine fibre optic cable systems that provide automatic re-routing capabilities if required.

Wholesale Bandwidth supports standard interfaces that includes V.35, V.36, x.21, G.703 and G.714, which can cater for speeds from as low as 64Kbps up to 10Gbps. In the unlikely event of network failure, quick fault isolation and remedial action shall be made available 24/7 via our Integrated Network Management System (INMS).

Domestic
TM Wholesale provides Narrowband, Broadband access and Optical Bandwidth services over a Managed Leased Circuit Network (MLCN) and a Digital Data Network (DDN). Narrowband access provides access speeds of nx64kbps – 2Mbps, while higher bandwidths of 4Mbps, 6Mbps, 8Mbps, 34Mbps, 45Mbps and 155Mbps are available with Broadband access. Where even higher bandwidths of 200Mbps – 10Gbps are required, Optical Bandwidth is an ideal solution.

International
Providing connectivity beyond Malaysian borders, International provides a variety of services that includes international connectivity, backhaul, transit, interconnection and IRU.

Featuring One Stop Shopping (OSS) and Full Channel Services (FCS), International Bandwidth Services provides connectivity between Malaysia and any one international destination, while Bandwidth Transit Services provides connectivity between any two international destinations with Malaysia as a transit hub.

Where a Carrier has an IRU in two different submarine cable systems; Bandwidth Interconnection is used when both submarine cable systems terminate in the same cable landing station in Malaysia, while Bandwidth Backhaul connects two separate submarine cable system that terminate in two different cable landing stations within Malaysia.

IRU on the other hand, is a long-term lease, of not less than 15 years, in submarine cable capacity that is non-terminating in Malaysia.
